MIDSIZED FIRMS SHIFT RECRUITING STRATEGIES

Leigh Jones/Staff reporter - Big law firms are snatching up qualified graduates as quickly as law schools can churn them out. And with those schools graduating about the same number of students each year, the tightest squeeze is on midsized firms.

SEC WILL ALLOW E-MAILING OF INFORMATION

The Securities and Exchange Commission has issued new rules that will allow companies to provide information to shareholders via the Internet. The rules will go into effect on July 1. (Lawyers USA Feb. 12, >2007, page 15)
